Ingredients

cup
yogurt
½
cup
water

onion
(chopped)

tablespoons
fresh mint
(chopped)
½
cup
boondi balls
1
teaspoon
cumin powder
½
teaspoon
salt
½
teaspoon
red chilli powder
½
teaspoon
chaat masala
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt and water until smooth and creamy.
Add the chopped onion, mint, boondi, cumin powder, salt, and red chilli powder. Mix well.
Garnish with some crispy boondi, mint leaves, and a sprinkle of
chaat masala
. Serve chilled.

Feel free to adjust the spice levels according to your preference.
Ensure the yogurt is fresh and not sour.
I use thick Greek yogurt, but you can use buttermilk instead. (Just skip the water if you do.)
For an extra flavor boost, I often add a frozen
chutney cube
to the raita.
