Ingredients

  • 3 medium red onions (peeled, cut into thin rings)
  • 4 cups water (chilled)
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine cold water, vinegar, and salt. Stir well.
  • Separate the onion rings and add them to the water mixture. Let them soak for 30 minutes.
  • Strain the onions and gently pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Sprinkle with red chili powder and chaat masala, then mix well. Your crunchy, spicy, and tangy onion salad is ready!
  • Serve with chargha, chapli kababs, tawa kababs, seekh kababs, sabzi dishes, or pulao. Enjoy! And remember “COOKING IS EASY!”

  • To enhance the flavor, you can also add chopped mint, coriander, and green chili.
