Here is another variation of lassi!
Lassi is a wonderful cooling and delicious drink which is prepared with thick curd in summer and is made in different flavours (salty as well as sweet). It is a wonderful summer cooler and is mostly enjoyed in lunch as a hot weather beverage. It is one of the most popular drink in Pakistan and is consumed in almost every household in summers because of its cooling properties.
This is a perfect beverage with all the goodness to beat this rising heat. It has a refreshing and cooling effect on your body. It has the benefits of mint and cucumber and a lovely flavour of cumin and black pepper. Mint gives a great taste and a refreshing flavour to summer dishes.
This recipe is so simple and easy, and it takes only five minutes to prepare at home using simple ingredients.

How to serve this mint lassi?
- You can serve it with any desi (Pakistani/Indian) dish.
- Top it with fresh mint leaves and cumin powder before serving.
- You can also serve it with few tablespoons of whipped butter on top.
How to store this mint lassi?
Store the leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days in a sealed cup.
Recipe Notes:
- Make sure to use the yoghurt that is not sour.
- For the authentic taste and creamy consistency, use full fat yoghurt.
- If you prefer a thinner consistency, add some water.
- You can easily double or triple this recipe to make a larger batch.

- Yoghurt – 2 cups
- Cucumber (peeled and diced) – 1 cup
- Mint Leaves – ¼ cup
- Black Salt – ½ teaspoon
- Cumin Powder – 1 teaspoon
- Black Pepper Powder – ½ teaspoon
- Ice Cubes – 1 cup
Instructions
Step by step recipe is given below:
- Combine yoghurt, cucumber, mint leaves, salt, cumin powder, black pepper powder and ice cubes in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
