How to Make Best Spring Rolls
A popular appetizer or snack, crispy and crunchy from outside with a spicy filling! Impress your family with these appetizing spring rolls which are far better than the store ones. These rolls pair perfectly with tea as a teatime snack. They are a great way to feed your kids vegetables. These rolls are easy to make and always delicious!
Turkey meat and colourful vegetables give a wonderful flavour to these rolls. I often make a big batch of these rolls because they can be stored in freezer for months easily. This recipe can adapt to any protein you put in it. These rolls are packed with healthy nutrients which make them great for iftar. They are healthier, cheaper and so much tastier!

How can I store these spring rolls?
- You can store them in the refrigerator for 2 – 3 days in an airtight container.
- Tip: Brush the container with oil to keep the rolls from sticking to the container.

- You can also store them in freezer. Arrange them on a large tray (make sure to have some spacing between them) and freeze them for few hours. Remove them from the tray and place in an airtight container or freezer bag. Store in a freezer for up to 3 months. Be sure to thaw them out at room temperature before frying.
What can I do with the Leftovers?
Leftovers of the filling are perfect for pasta.
Recipe Notes:
- These rolls can be easily fried in Air Fryer. Just brush them with oil and then fry.
- You can also bake these rolls.
- Turkey meat can be substituted with chicken or minced meat.
- You can use more vegetables as per your preference.
- Roll wrappers can also be substituted with lettuce leaves to make them low carb.
- You can also replace roll wrappers with rice paper.
- Do not overfill them.
- You can also skip the meat to make them vegetarian.

Ingredients
- 1 cup turkey meat (boiled, shredded)
- 15 spring roll wrappers
- 1 cup cabbage (julienned)
- ½ cup capsicum (julienned)
- ½ cup carrots (julienned)
- ½ cup peas (fresh or frozen)
- 1 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 2 teaspoons chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- water (for sealing)
- oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a wok or skillet, combine the boiled turkey meat, cabbage, capsicum, carrots, peas, salt, black pepper powder, chili sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Place 2 tablespoons of the filling near the bottom corner of a spring roll wrapper. Fold the sides inward over the filling, brush the edges with water to seal, and roll tightly (but not too tight). Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.
- Serve hot with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy! And remember “COOKING IS EASY!”
Notes
- You can air-fry these rolls by brushing them with oil before frying. Baking also works well.
- Turkey can be substituted with chicken or minced meat.
- Feel free to add more vegetables as per your preference.
- Avoid overfilling the rolls to prevent tearing.
