Easy Pizza Sandwich | Beef Sandwich Recipe
This pizza sandwich recipe is the combination of pizza and sandwich recipes. It is a best way to feed your kid healthy and nutritious meal with loads of cheese stuffed inside it.
This recipe is great for both kids and adults as a quick snack, lunch or perhaps as a breakfast. It is not just filling, but also tasty and healthy. It is a quick meal that hardly takes 15 minutes to prepare. The best thing about this sandwich recipe is that you can make a big batch and freeze for later use.
Use whole grain toast instead of white bread. Because of high fiber it keeps you fill for longer. Serve with a side of ketchup for dipping and you are sorted for the day.

- Serve them with ketchup and fries or onion rings.
- You can also pair these delicious sandwiches with a hot bowl of soup or a salad for a comforting and family-friendly meal.
Can I make them ahead of time?
- The best thing about this sandwich recipe is that you can make a big batch and freeze up to 2 months in a freezer safe container or ziploc bag for later consumption. Reheat them according to the instructions below.
- The filling can also be made 2 to 3 days ahead of time. Just keep it in a sealed container in the refrigerator until you’re ready to assemble the sandwiches. Make sure the filling is completely cool before you store it away.

How to reheat them?
- These sandwiches are best reheated in the oven (on highest temperature for about 8 to 10 minutes) or an Airfryer (on 160 °C for 7 to 8 minutes).
- You can also reheat them in sandwich maker for about 3 to 5 minutes.
Note: If you reheat them in the microwave, they will lose their crunch and become soggy.
What can I use the leftover filling for?
- The leftover of this filling is great for pastas.
- You can also use it to make tacos next day.
- The leftover filling is also very good to make pizza parathas.
- You can use the filling to make puffs.
- The filling can also be used to make stuffed zucchini.

- I have been using this sandwich maker for the past few years. It is very easy to clean.
- For my recipes, I use measuring spoons, cups and kitchen scale.
- I used basting brush to butter the sandwich maker.
Notes:
- Avoid using tomatoes as they release too much juice and the sandwich becomes soggy.
- Any melting cheese would work for this recipe.
- Use bread of your choice.
- You can add more vegetables of your choice to make it healthier and more nutritious. Mushrooms taste very good in this recipe.
- If there’s too much fat, drain the beef grease in a sieve.
- I used ground beef, but you could use minced chicken if you like.
- This recipe is a best way to utilize leftover minced meat.

Ingredients
- 8 slices bread (whole grain)
- 150 grams minced beef (cooked)
- ½ cup capsicum (chopped)
- ½ cup sweet corn (kernels)
- ½ cup olives (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon butter (unsalted)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the minced beef, capsicum, corn, olives, ketchup, salt, black pepper, red chilli powder, oregano, and basil.
- Preheat the sandwich maker and lightly butter both sides. Place one slice of bread inside.
- Spoon the prepared mixture onto the bread, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Do not overfill, as the mixture may ooze out during cooking.
- Place another slice of bread on top, close the sandwich maker tightly, and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot with ketchup, fries, or onion rings. Enjoy! And remember “COOKING IS EASY!”
Notes
- Instead of mozzarella, you can use any good melting cheese.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms for added nutrition. Avoid tomatoes as they release too much moisture and can make the sandwich soggy.
- If there’s excess fat in the beef, drain it through a sieve.
- You can substitute minced chicken for beef if preferred.
