One Pan Creamy and Cheesy Chicken Pasta Recipe

This cheesy chicken pasta is the easiest, most effortless 20 minutes meal ever from start to finish. And it’s all made in a single pan. This simple and delicious pasta makes a super quick and delicious meal or side dish that can be easily prepared at last minute or when you are out of ideas. Cheese, chicken and herbs complement each other so beautifully in flavour, while garlic gives a wonderful taste to this pasta.

How to store this cheesy chicken pasta?

  • You could easily make it ahead of time and store in refrigerator up to 3 to 4 days.

or

  • Freeze up to 1 month in a sealed container. Be sure to fully thaw it out before reheating and while reheating, add some milk to prevent it from drying.

Recipe Notes:

  • Replace mozzarella cheese with any type of cheese you have on hand. Feel free to adapt the recipe to your liking.
  • You can use minced beef, mutton or turkey instead of chicken. This recipe can adapt to any protein you put in it.
  • Add more vegetables of your choice if you like.
  • You can also serve this pasta topped with parmesan cheese.
  • Make sure to rinse the pasta under cold water and drain well to remove any excess water so your pasta dish doesn’t become soupy.

For Non-Meaty Version:

Instead of chicken, use mushrooms, chickpeas, beans, eggplants, carrots, peas, peppers or tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Breast (cut into cubes) – 2 cups
  • Butter – 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • White Pepper Powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Oregano (dried) – 2 teaspoons
  • Capsicum (sliced) – 1 cup
  • Heavy Cream – 1 cup
  • Cream Cheese – 3 tablespoons
  • Pasta (boiled) – 4 cups
  • Mozzarella Cheese (grated) – 1 cup

Instructions

Step by step recipe is given below:

  1. Melt butter in a pan and sauté garlic in it.
  2. Add chicken, salt, white pepper powder and oregano. Cook until chicken is done.
  3. Then add capsicum, heavy cream and cream cheese. Cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Now add pasta and grated mozzarella. Mix well and your cheesy chicken pasta is ready.
