As a mom of young kid, I prefer having smoothies in breakfast as they are super delicious and super quick to make as a grab ‘n go breakfast on busy days. It will give you an energy boost for the day and will keep you full until lunch time. It is rich in fiber, loaded with numerous vitamins and minerals, has an extra creamy texture and is incredibly delicious sunshine in a cup.

Check out the video below, me and my little daughter prepared this smoothie together. We loved it; I am sure you’ll love it too. Do let me know in comments if you give it a try.

  • Bananas: Bananas are a good source of several vitamins and minerals, especially potassium. They make any smoothie thick, naturally sweet, and creamy.
  • Apple: Apples have numerous health benefits. They are rich in fiber, antioxidants and improve gut health.
  • Dates: Dates are naturally sweet and a very useful sugar replacement. They support gut and bone health.
  • Oatmeal: Oatmeal is rich in fiber, and it makes smoothies filling. I most often use old-fashioned rolled oats, but quick oats work too.
  • Blueberries: Rich in antioxidants and give that beautiful color to this smoothie. They help prevent heart disease and regulate blood sugar.
  • Milk: I used regular full fat milk, but you may also use unsweetened almonds milk, soy milk or cashew milk.
